Ordering at T&L
To get to the order page, hover over the 'Order' link and select 'Order Online'

- Creating a New Account
- From the Order Menu select Order Online. When the T&L Log In window appears, click on Create New Account at the bottom of the window.
- On the Create New User window, enter the invoice number and total from the last order you received from us, and the email address where you would like us to send the user name and password.
- Click on the Apply for a new user button. We will email you your user name and password right away.
- If you don't have your last invoice handy, or you happen to see a pop up window saying the information you provided doesn't match our system, just click Register by Phone and call us at the phone number listed and we'll gladly get you set up.
- Logging In
- From the T&L Home Page, click Log In on the right side of the banner at the top of the screen. Enter your user name and password, and then click the Sign In button to proceed.
- You now have access to our availability list with prices as well as online ordering screens.
- Starting a New Order
- After Logging in select Online Ordering from the green pull down menu under the Order heading.
- When the Welcome to T&L Nursery pop up window appears, click the Start a New Order button.
- On the New Order window, enter a purchase order number if needed, your name and email address, and pick whether you want to pick the order up or have us deliver it to you.
- For Garden Centers, pick the Monday of the week you would like the order delivered. If picking up your order, select the Monday of the week you would like to pick up, and then type in the specific date and time of the pick up in the comment box to the right of the calendar.
- For Landscapers, pick the specific date from the available dates on the calendar for either a delivery or pick up. For deliveries, make sure you have filled in the site address and contact information at the bottom of the window. Landscapers can also let us know if you prefer to order by flats or eaches.
- Click the Start New Order button to go to the order entry screen.
- Entering an Order
- After starting a New Order, you are taken to the Current Order tab on the main ordering screen. The screen appears with the current availability listed for you to make quantity selections.
- Quantities are entered by the number of increments you need in the vertical, green Order column.
- Click the Show Ordered button to show a list of only the plants you have ordered. To get back to the full availability, click Clear Search to the left of the Show Ordered button or All Items under the Categories heading in the left column.
- Any special order or delivery instructions may be entered in the comments box at the bottom of the screen.
- Click the Submit button at the lower right to finalize the order.
- You now see a pop up window with Staff Picks of the week. These are plants that look particularly nice at the moment and we don't want you to miss out on them. Feel free to select some, and then click the Submit button to dismiss the pop up window and send the order to us.
- We automatically email you an Order Acknowledgement but you may also choose to Print your order as well.
- Searching-Several Options
- Scroll up and down the available plants using the green slide bar on the right hand side of the screen.
- Click on a Category in the left hand column to see what's available in that category.
- Start typing in the Search box and as you type the available plants will be narrowed down to only ones that contain those letter. It searches by Botanical Name and Common Name at the same time.
- You can also click on Advanced to open the Advanced Search window to search by specific plant characteristics.
- Note that the Clear Search button appears next to the Advanced search button anytime the availability list is being narrowed due to a category being selected or letters being entered in the Search box. Click the Clear Search button to return to full availability.
- Sorting
- Click on any of the column headings in green, other than Order, and the availability list will be sorted alphabetically or numerically depending what is in the column you chose.
- Click again to sort the opposite direction.
- Note the black arrowhead that appears to the right of the column name after you have clicked to sort. It indicates the direction the column is being sorted.
- Saving your order as a Draft
- To save your order to work on later, just click the Save Draft button in the bottom right corner.
- You may now choose to Print your order or get an acknowledgement Email.
- Working with a saved Draft
- After login, choose Browse Drafts rather than New Order.
- Or, if you are already logged in and on the Current Order Tab, click on the Drafts Tab.
- Once you are on the Drafts tab, always click the Refresh button on the left side of the screen to see the most recently saved Drafts.
- If you have more than one Draft saved, by clicking on one of the Draft orders listed in the upper view pane, the items saved in the Draft may be previewed in the lower view pane.
- When you have selected the correct Draft in the upper view pane, clicking the Load Order button on the right side of the screen will load the Draft into the Current Order tab as an active order again.
- Continue editing your order and you may Save Draft again, or Submit the order to us for processing.
- Clicking the Delete button on the Draft Tab will delete the highlighted Draft from your list of Drafts.
- Managing your Pre Order
- After login, select the Ship Pre Order button.
- Or, if you are already logged in and on the Current Order Tab, click on the Ship Order Tab.
- Once you are on the Ship Order tab, any available items remaining for you to take from your Pre Order are automatically displayed.
- Enter the number of increments of each item you want in the green Order column.
- Click Submit in the lower right corner to finalize your pre order.
- You now see a pop up window with Staff Picks of the week. These are plants that look particularly nice at the moment and we don't want you to miss out on them. Feel free to select some, and then click the Submit button to dismiss the pop up window and send the pre order to us.
- We automatically email you an Order Acknowledgement but you may also choose to Print your order as well.
- Viewing Past Orders
- From the Online Ordering screen, select the Past Orders tab.
- You may select a certain date range using the From and To calendars at the top left, then clicking the Filter button.
- Clicking on one of the lines in the upper view pane shows the line items it contains in the lower view pane.
- You may then Email or Print those items by clicking the corresponding button.
- Returning to our Main Web Page
- Click the Home button at the top of the screen
